A friend of mine is interested in buying a lighter and cutter set I’ve been holding onto for a long time and I feel like it’s time to let it go. Can anyone give me a starting point to research a fair price for a DuPont Opus X lighter and cutter? Is there a marketplace other than eBay for lighters to see comp sales or a “blue book” of values? The starting point is what you're willing to sell if for vs what your "friend" is willing to pay. If it were really a friend that wouldn't be so hard to do.
We are a suspicious bunch here. And we are not an appraisal service... especially for people who pick up cigar accessories at flea markets and garage sales. If you'd bought the set at retail and been holding on to it, you'd know it's value. We also do not appreciate attempts to phish for a buyer by new registers who aren't vetted for our classified section. Case closed! Sayonara.
