I started yesterday, If I keep this pace up, I will need to order more today. I have smoked 6 already. I love these Olivas.

usually I pick a bundle with a size I am comfortable with. Once you know what certain manufacturers blends taste like then you can choose that way.I recommend anything from Torano, Flor De Oliva in bundles.

how do you guys know which bundles to buy?

for example, on the JR site (thx thor), I don't find any specific cigar names I know, but I see compnay names I know. Could I go w/ the compnay , wrapper and size I like and wing it?

Getting recommendations is the surest way to go.

Sometimes buying bundles, you are taking an inherant risk with an unknown bundle. Sometimes they suck, and sometimes you get lucky. In the past I have had some bad choices, but most of the time these days I do pretty good with bundles. There's been some times I've found cigars at $1.50 each per bundle that smoked as well as a name brand $5 cigar.
