That postin was me, but follow the link and you see that what I am talking about is listed different then the X-outs. Just wasn't sure if these, the Nicaraguan Factory Selects are seperate that the X-outs or the same with more sizes.

Here's what I figure:

It lists the Fusion and Signature as two of the options these sticks could be, but since those are already listed in separate categories as 2nds by CI, then it can't be those.

The Winter Collection isn't out yet, so that's not it either.

The Fusion MM is also a possibility, but I'm not sure they'd do that because 1) the picture is not a maduro (weak argument, I'll grant) and 2) the MM doesn't sell all that well, so I'm not sure CI would order 2nds. Then again, the MM is exclusive to CI whereas the Summer and Autumns aren't even sold there...

So that leave the ITC 10th, Summer Collection, and Autumn Collection to fill at least 1 of the two remaining spots.

My money was on the ITC 10th for one of those spots, if for no other reason that the fact that CI's "sister company," cigar.com JUST THIS WEEK addend ITC 10th Anny 2nds to their site. Also, "Liga A" has a lonsdale size, which is only seen in the ITC 10th.

HOWEVER, since the sizes listed on both the "Liga A" and "Liga B" of the Selects include a Salamon size, I'm going to have to say that one of them has got to be the RP Autumn Collection.

Now, it could be that salamons were made of other blends like the ITC 10th but never released, but anything is possile :)

So, here are my guesses:

Liga A = ITC 10th Anny
Liga B = RP Autumn Collection

What do you guys think?

With out a side by side comparison I can't be positive but you may be correct on Liga B but I do not think Liga A will be the ITC 10th Anny because cbid has been offering the ITC 10th anny 2nds and the Rocky Patel Nicaraguan Factory Selects.

You know i'm a Rocky Patel whore but it just seems like he keeps putting more and more stuff out and to be honest some of his stuff just ain't worth it. Hes got a good line of prodcuts he just needs to let them ride.
He is attempting to make something for everyone.. so many brands have either super expensive or super cheap, or both. Some have just middle.. very few have across the board, and even less have well priced quality.

I respect that he is willing to put his name on so much to offer to so many.. I think in time as he realizes which ones sell, he'll phase out the others and just keep the top sellers of each tier.

Sorry to raise an old thread, has anyone figured out what the nic factory selects are 2nds of?
I had the same question ... today. I assumed the Factory Select was seconds for the American Market Selection.

Famous has 20 customer ratings at: 10 out of 10.

I'd really love to know if anyone has tried these. Wrappings look a bit inconsistent but if they taste as good as the reviews from the retailer site ... well I'll take them. Then again, I don't always trust reviews posted by someone trying to sell me something.

We don't have reviews of the Factory Selects on our site, so any info is appreciated.

I'm jumping on this as well...I just received a bundle of Rocky Patel Nicaraguan 2nds Liga A Robustos and don't really have any idea what I just got :) I actually was thinking I bid on the X-Out Liga A...then realized my mistake when I had the apparent high bid. Needless to say, I won!

The stogies look, feel, and smell great, as most Rocky products do. I figure to give them a couple weeks to settle, then blaze up!
