Great news there Squid. Kid brother in CYPRESS has no electricity and a tree or 3 stuck thru his roof but that's it. Hope all are doing well and they can get back in business quickly as well.

It is bad in the Galveston area. They are thinking at least a month maybe 2 to restore electricity. FJ, does your brother need a hot shower or anything. I have electricity. PM me if I can help.

Hello all I live in Pasadena, family and I are all fine. Our house made it fine but the same as everyone else no POWER (4 days now), and the fence is down, tree limbs and crap like that are gone or broken. Glad to read that CL members made it through this hurricane.

We made it through in Sugar Land. My neighbors on either side lost portions of their roof, but we were virtually untouched. We have power and water and some friends are staying with us with their two kids.

I need some help.

I'm located in Dallas, but have a vacant property in Cypress close to the volunteer fire dept. off of 529. I have no clue how the house stood up to Ike and am trying to get over there ASAP. I don't have any contacts who could give me a status. All that I do know is that it didn't survive the electricity cut-off.

If anyone is close by and can swing by for me, please PM, I will pay you for your gas, just name it.
