I read that Mikey.
Amazing.
I am so proud to say I have never contributed one dime to see one of his movies and have never cared to see one even if free.
He is an embarrassment to any political side.

:tpd: I watched about 20 minutes of Fahrenheit 911 (free online of course)
and I must say that this guy is a total whackjob. I have also read this and it makes me sick to think that he actually puts politics above human lives.

That is just as tasteless as when the the Focus on The Family people prayed for rain during the DNC.

So you are saying that praying for rain = being elated that a major hurricane is about to make landfall
Michael Moore said that this storm is "evidence for God". Focus on the Family prayed for "Rain of Biblical Proportions".
If you ask me, praying for something bad to happen so someone runs counter to Judeo-Christian beliefs. They are both in the wrong. You think Focus on the Family was right?

I had not heard about the "rain prayer". You just stated that they prayed for "rain" and did not mention the "rain of biblical proportions" so I will have to agree that if they prayed for that then yes it is every bit as terrible.:2

However I must add that although many people believe that all prayers are answered what they were basically doing is hoping. I do think there is a difference in "hoping for something" and "knowing something" is gonna happen and rejoicing about it. With that said I have no doubt that theses nut cases would have rejoiced if there would have been a major flood in Denver.

Here is the video link to the Focus on the Family prayer.
Hopefully you are not missing the point that has been made.
These are nut jobs.
No one condones it.
They are hoping something happens to dampen an event.
They are nuts.
They have limited access to the general public.

Michael Moore is rejoicing from the imminent harm that is to come to the people of Louisiana just because it will dampen the convention.
Michael Moore is "rejoicing that it is going to happen", not praying that it does.
He has access to the mass media.
He has a following.
He can be much more influential with his statements to those that care to listen than that nut job you posted.

I'm not looking for an excuse for Moore. Although sometimes my politics align with his, I mostly think he's an ignorant loudmouth.

It's people like these that force our political dialog into the toilet.

That said, I don't really see him as rejoicing as much as snarkingly suggesting it was evidence for God. Obviously the side point is that it is dampening the RNC. He did say he "certainly hopes nobody is hurt." So if your going to suggest he was glad about the damage or the harm, you should review that tape. I saw it on Keith Olberman and Keith did give him a look like "Don't go there", but he did.

Would the Focus on the Family people rejoice if the rain had come?

Man that dude MM is a whack job. I have never given him a penny and never will. I hate extremists on either side, they just ruin for regular people. I definetly would be on the right wing side and am religious, but that video was baddie.

Thought this was a funny spoof on the video.

That dude is as much a nutjob as Moore and those other idiots.
And yes I am sure they would have. But like I said, they were hoping whereas he knows what is about to happen.
