This dark, very dark, box-pressed churchill was an unexpected delight.
The wrapper was smooth, shiny, and mostly free of veins. Pre-light draw was a little easier than I like, but not too much.
Lit up, took my first puff, and was overwhelmed by the huge volume of rich smoke. One word came immediately to mind: sweet. From start to finish this cigar produced tons of smoke that was sweet and moist, with notes of cedar, leather, and a slightly peppery bite.
A very enjoyable cigar for the money.
