7:00 pm - DINNER WITH THE CONCLAVE! (There is a $20/person charge to help the club defray costs)
Afterward thru 12 midnight - Relax in the Smoke Filled Room with the Conclave.

9:30 am - 5:00 pm EXPOSITION OPEN to the Public !
10:30 - 4:00 Silent Auction
5:00 pm Expo closes until Sunday

9:00 am EXPOSITION OPEN to the Public !
11:30 am the Wm. F. Porter Memorial Pipe Rack Auction (donate your "junque" for charity)

Anyone going to this? I was thinking of going, it's driving distance for me so I may go on Saturday.

OK - I walked around for three or four hours with the Jack Straw. I bought a tin of Bracken Flake and also picked up a large unsmoked flame grain Teddy Knudsen pick axe ($3500).

Also, did you try any of the new stuff that Russ brought? If so, how was it?

Was a really fun time. Pipe shows are where it's at. Met lots of interesting hobbyists, restorers, and young pipemakers, saw some neat pipes, and there were certainly some great deals to be had.

Have to stash away some extra cash for next year so I can visit the real players tables with Moo. :boink:

Ohhhh. Now I get it. You guys thought I BOUGHT the Teddy Knudsen pipe! That's not right. I BOUGHT the Bracken Flake tin - it was $10. What I did with the $3500 Teddy Knudsen pipe was PICK IT UP - you know, to look at it and get fingerprints on it and then PUT IT BACK down.

Jack Straw was right there. He saw me pick it up. And he saw me put it down again.

You guys... thinking I bought a $3500 pipe? Ho ho ho.
