I drive a Big Truck and usually cut 3-5 sticks for the day. I then transfer those to a small air tight container with a 69° Boveda. Any one else pre-cut?

Thanks

I will sometimes precut cigars I plan to smoke on long drives. I usually put them back in the cellophane to protect them if they’re going into my travel humidor. Occasionally I decide not to smoke one that I’ve cut and it may go back into the humidor for weeks or months before I decide it’s in the rotation again.

There’s no noticeable negative effect from cutting them in advance.

If I'm going somewhere where I know I'm the "cigar guy" , I'll precut a few so I don't have to lend out my cutter. Never know when there's a cigar licker in your midst.

I pre cut Cubans with tight draws.
Helps them to loosen up after another trip to the freezer.
Then back to the humidor for a week or so.
