I was curious to ask since this may become a reality by mid-or late next year. Has anyone on this board being to Cuba and picked up some cigars? If so from where and what would be the cost compared to what we see online? And for this quetion please pardon my ignorance,can I bring back those cigars legally?

As far as legally, I do not think so if you go to cuba via another country then maybe sneak them in, take the bands off and / or don't declare, I only suggest since I am Canadian. Use to be able to bring back $100 worth of cigars, but now it's none :tg Not sure how easy it is to get them past customs.

Customs is tough, at least they were in Memphis, TN. When we came back from our honeymoon a couple of guys on the plane tried to bring some ISOMS back that they bought in Cancun and evey last one of them got caught in customs when we landed.
