As the title says, let's see what everyone's driving :smile2:

Not my only rides, but here's what I'm in most days:

It counts as a ride because it has wheels, right?

New addition today- a 26’ 1977 Argosy. Pulled by my dirty tow pig, an ‘09 Tundra.

I love it!

Took mine on a two week trip, just stayed at 1 campsite. Europe is a whole lot different than USA or Australian camping. The rv's are smaller due to the cars being smaller (in some cases we get tandem axle caravans, most don't have it or are pulled my trucks or large suvs), my '11 Ford Focus is allowed to tow it at 1500kg, on paper barely but manages easily. Camping "in the wild" is prohibited in most countries, we just camp at a designated campsite. Some or more organized than others, we like the more organized ones for the kids, we occasionally take it just the 2 of us and prefer much smaller campsites.

Ours is a Knaus (German brand as most European caravans), inside its 450 cm, from towpoint to back 635 cm so mine would inside yours and there would still be room. We only sleep in it, we live mostly outside or in a tent we attach to the caravan which is about 450 cm by 270 cm.

Always liked the edge, only sold as a diesel, but I love the explorer which kind of replaced it in europe. 6 cylinder (think it's 3.2) turbo with plug in hybrid. With crazy taxes would cost me almost 80K euros and it doesn't get me a roadtax cut as it isn't fully electric which also costs me about 2k a year. Even the fact it's electric for 90% of my km's (we both can charge at work and at home) it doesn't matter on taxes.

Finally got a new (to me) ride. Loved that old explorer (2004), engine ran great but it just needed too much maintenance for everything else. Loving the new one. Now I just have to get used to a car that doesn't rattle. 😆

My motorcycles are in the other thread.
Our '76 Apache (Royal model) trailer that we've cleaned, repaired, & improved here-n-there:

It's still getting little fixes but is fully functional. However, we have it for sale because...

...the money from the Apache will go into a Megasquirt for camping in our '76 Bus:

Not a good shot but this is my '72 Squareback that my parents bought brand-new from the showroom:

(Yes, my shop is an embarassing mess! As a one-man band with a bad back there's only so much I can do so it's taking time...🤬)

I have a 2.3L race-built engine I have to put in it:

And finally, too good a price to pass up from a relative is our one foreign vehicle, the American:

Ford F-250 Camper Special, 8' bed, extended cab, EOD, and 7.5L gas-guzzling engine...but it can haul a house!

The Jetta in the background was my daily driver for 24 years and SCCA track car but now is parted out. The engine will eventually end up in our Bus. This is the 2.0L version and the engines are bulletproof! The transaxle (a.k.a. glass tranny) is another story

As for daily drivers, they have varied through the years but all have been German. Would love an Italian someday but by that time the kids will be gone and I will buy my late '80s Porsche 911 instead.

Which Multistrada do you ride?

I went to an ADV intro seminar at MotoCorsa this past Saturday evening to learn some more about adventure riding. If I had a proper bike I would have taken the all-day class they were holding out on a local Christmas tree farm. My Diavel Strada just wouldn't cut it  One day I'll get an ADV bike...

2020 Multistrada 950S

It's a great bike, but not exactly suited for the kind of ADV work I'd like to do. About 4 months after I bought this, they announced the Husqvarna 901 Norden. That's what I really want now and it would have been $3-4K cheaper. Oh well...

It still gets the job done and my only real complaint is the Skyhook electronic suspension. It is sprung way too soft and no one can revalve them. I installed a heavier spring in the rear. To put a heavier spring in the front, I need to pull it and send it out for measurements to have a custom spring spun up. Problem with that is that I can't revalve to match the new spring weight.

I have a few big trips lined up this year and when that's done, I'll probably sell it and buy the Norden.
