1) Smart Fortwo. It's a micro car manufactured by Mercedes Benz. I've got 5 of them.I'm not bein a jaggoff so don't take these questions the wrong way.
1) what is it?
2) do you get nervous if there's a truck behind you on the highway?
3) I'll assume it's battery operated. How don't the batteries crack at 30 below?
Let's just hope she doesn't decide to peruse puff to see what it's all about lol.. Otherwise I think you are safe. 14 years though... Think you found a keeper there. She would kill me for this. Had her for 14 years, ridin hard some days and easy other days. Regular maintenance has kept her in decent shape.

Some guy had one at work. It was battery but it looked even smaller in person. I couldn't imagine passing a tractor trailer in that..I laugh at myself most days too :grin2:

2) Nope. I drove most of those home when I bought them (went to a metropolitan city to pick them up). The drive home is ~1,500 miles one way. When driving, you actually don't notice how small the car is. The inside is as roomy as a small Civic, or Focus. Where the car lacks space is behind you (small trunk and no rear seats).
3) Nope, gas. 1.0L 3 cylinder gas engine. And yes, they do start at -30 degrees. Here's a pic of the coldest weather I've driven it in, and yes, that is frost on the gauge cluster protective plastic:

Yeah there is a Smart EV. They're super expensive though ($32K+ brand new), so I've always stuck with the gas ones. Some guy had one at work. It was battery but it looked even smaller in person. I couldn't imagine passing a tractor trailer in that..
