United Struck First with blow from who else, boy wonder, Christiano Ronaldo. Dida could put his hand on it, but not keep it away from the line. Milan's Kaka scored twice to put the Italian side ahead for the first half. United came out strong in the 2nd half and Wayne Rooney puts away the tying goal in the 59th minute. With several free kicks at 25 yards out United had more than a few opportunities to go a head. Gatusso left the pitch injured and he was sorely missed in the midfield. With the scored tied and Milan looking to the clock to leave with a draw, Wayne Rooney put his squad ahead with a shot, that may become his trademark goal, from his right side of the box about 20 yards out. After going down in the first half, United have proved themselves resilent, to the bitter end. Even with the 2nd squad back line Manchester United have defeated AC Milan 3-2.

I'm glad Milan's made it this far, at the beginning of the season I was just hoping to hold on to 75% of the squad with the situation being what it was.

Now we're a home leg awy from the UCL final against a resurgent Manchester United side. I'm over the moon about it. This was a great game, Kaka, Rooney and CRonaldo are just amazing players.

I just hope tomorrow's match isn't the snoozer I have the dreads about
