"Howdy! It's that time of year again...

For those who haven't seen this before, Birds of a Feather is a HERFING box pass. A coordinator in each city organizes a local herf. People attend the herf, and do puts and takes from the box in person.

It's a great way to meet the locals, or see all the locals again, and ideal for newbies. Also easy on the pocketbook, as the box isn't shipped around nearly as much. (It's a nice gesture to give the coordinator a couple of bucks to help with shipping as the box will be pretty big...)
