When I was in Tampa a few weeks ago I stopped by La Herencia de Cuba and picked up a few sticks. I was wondering if anyone knows if this store is the same producer of the La Herencia de Cuba cigars that you can buy online at sites like Cigar.com and at B&Ms? The bands look different, with the ones I bought in FL looking like replica Cohiba bands.

On a side note I smoked one the other day and after about 5 mins I put it out. It simply didn't taste good at all. I'm hoping it was a reaction to what I had just ate (a giant chocolate chip cookie my fiancee had just taken out of the oven) as well as the fact that I was drinking a very sweet desert wine before lighting it up. I still have two more, so I'll give it another try sometime and post back.

The one found online is a totally different cigar from Casa Fernandez (Tabacalera Tropicale) in Nicaragua.

not the same at all I used to go there once in a while when i lived in tampa and i had asked them the same thing and i remember it was a bit funny because one guy in there was trying to tell me that they were the same and that he can make me the cigars i wanted BTW they do roll on sight but any way the owner im guessing told the man not to lie to his customers.
