Hey guys, was searching on the net for an electric coolador, as my problem is that my temperature in my humidors is about high 70's which I've been searching and is I guess more prone to "beetles". The temperature in so cali is suppose to get worst and the humi's are in my room. The closet is too small, so for right now I have ice packs on the top of them to lower the temp.

So I found the Igloo website. They have these Coolador Igloo's, that can go 44°F below outside temperature or warms to 155°F by adjusting it for only mid $100.00 or s.:

Was wondering if anyone has tried an electric coolador or used one of these? thanks!

Don't worry so much about temperature.
I keep my cigars at around 74 degrees/65% rh without any problems.

Many people on these forums live in Arizona or Florida and regularly see higher temps than that inside their humi's.

It really is luck of the draw whether you get beetles or not.

Many people use wine coolers and alter then to maintain 60+ degrees, but not electric coolers from what I have read.

First off, I'd be cautious setting ice packs on top of your humi or cigar boxes. The condensation that forms could really make a mess and possibly ruin your cigars and humi.

Regular coolers are a good, cheap solution and will help keep the contents better protected from the heat. If you can spend in the $100-$200 range, a wine cooler is the way to go.
