I think you can download them as well. Make sure to delete the copies of "sent" mail...that always fills mine up.

At the bottom of the private message page you'll see:

Download all Private Messages as :
XML | CSV | Text

If you select Text, it will download and save all private messages as a text file to your PC. Then you can just clean out your CS mailbox without fear of losing data.

great idea poker, thanks for pointing that out... i never saw that before. hell, it took me a few weeks to figure out how to REPLY under the new board format... it still seems odd that you have to QUOTE to reply to a message...

You can reply w/o quoting, but there is not button on each post like the old board. The regular reply button is after the last post on the current page.

Or you can just click the paper with the arrow after the box that says "Reply w/ Quote" and it will take you to the quick reply box. Just make sure "Quote message in Reply" is not checked.
