Welp... Looks like the price of Fuente cigars are gonna be up there with Cubans.

That’s an unimaginable amount of tobacco.
What’s insurance like in a country on the downturn for at least a few decades?

Considering this isn’t the first major warehouse fire they’ve had, along with big storm damage a year or two ago and I think they had a lost container shipment in relatively recent history too… if they can still get insurance, their premiums must be insane.

They are probably insured by someone out of London or Switzerland. Fuente is old enough and smart enough to buy real insurance from trusted companies. That won’t replace the tobacco or ease the pressure on supply however.

This sucks. Same thing happened to an an Adventura warehouse like 6 months ago. Lot's of tobacco has been going up in smoke, but not in the good way.
