I toasted one of those puppies yesterday and in my humble opinion they are coming around. The stick I had was a marvelous cross between a smooth D4 and a Trinidad Fundadore. It seems to be aging well and may be a stick that you consider for the humi.
"Coming around"? I would sure like to sample a cigar that you consider great....I love the Cuaba Salamones and think they are some of the best Cuban cigars in years. Have you tried the Partagas Series D 2? The Cohiba Siglo VI? These are great cigars as well but the Cuaba Salamone, in my opinion, beats them both.
A friend of mine just ordered the Cuaba Salamones. Cashcow just named two of my favorite cigars...the Partagas Series D 2 and The Cohiba Siglo VI. Smoked a Sig VI tonight as a matter of fact. Now my interest in smoking the Cuaba just went thru the roof.
