Saw the new Tom Cruise movie tonight, gotta say I really liked it. Good drama and very well done action sequences. I am a big fan of Director Michael Mann and e scored another winner with this one.

I read somewhere that it was a totally new type of role for Cruise, & a slightly risky one. Am looking forward to seeing it.

I admit I was afraid he could not pull off playing such a heavy, but he does it really well. I have to give him credit for once again doing good in a role I thought he might bomb in, I was totally against him playing Lestate in Interview With A Vampire, but he did great. Same here, I was halfway through the film before I realized that not once had I felt he wasn't convincing.

And he also executes a perfect "speed-rock" shooting sequence in one fight, and I don't think I have ever seen that in a film.
