I got one of these from a Portagee (said with affection) buddy of mine and after four months figure Fathers Day was a good time to fire it up. Man what a cigar. Construction and light were flawless. I had to cut the head off completely because of a bit of a plug but the draw afterwards was great. Did I say this was a helluva cigar? Great smoke, consistent flavor all the way through. A nice cumin, cedar taste with undertones of nutmeg all the way through. I would rate this as high as my favorite Cuban, the Monte #2.

Being one of those Portagees ( been called that my whole life ) I agree with you on the Cohiba Esplendido,,,it's a great cigar and when you have the time to devote to a cigar this size it's a great time and smoke for sure. Glad you enjoyed it,,,,
