I'm wanting to get into some coffee roasting, just ordered a sampler pack of green ones, and don't have anything to roast them in yet. Hoping one of you guys might have something a newb into this roasting thing could purchase that you don't use anymore.

Do you have a popcorn popper?

That is the best learning tool to start with, almost everybody starts there, some never leave there.......

Only pop corn popper I have is bacon grease and a big ass steel pot that I move around till they pop up. But don't own an air popper as I'm probably going to try to find if something doesn't pop up here.

Get rid of the grease add a metal colander and that'll work -- look out for the smoke though.

This isn't the popcorn popper Vic is talking about but it does the trick better than a dutch oven on the stove.
