I would like to have seen Dirty Harry come out of retirement and pass the torch on to a nephew or other Callahan family member.

The Dead Pool was absolutely killer - the opening scene where he wastes 4 thugs is just smokin' hot! First line "Get off my ass". #1 gets it with the Oldsmobile, #2 & #3 forehead shots, #4 in the back and doesn't even say halt.

The Good, The Bad And The Ugly is my all-time favorite movie.

BTW, my dad turned 91 today too.
My favorite western movie as well.
Happy Birthday to your Dad!

I must Concur with your thoughts.

Talking about Clint movies, I think Blood Work is excellent, and underrated, one of my favorites.

He is the person responsible for my taking up cigar smoking. After watching the Good, the Bad and the Ugly 50 years ago, some friends and I - none of us having ever smoked a cigar - decided we needed to buy some "Clint Eastwood" cigars. The local shop sold us some Parodis, and I've never looked back. Thanks Clint!
