Clarification on WA State’s RCW 70.155. 140 Law

For my fellow Washingtonians, HB1249/SB5340 prevents the online purchase of most tobacco products, not necessarily outlining which tobacco products can be bought/shipped online (if there are any). Does anyone know what the other (that don’t fall under “most”) qualify as?

I’m in the mostly free state of Texas but I have to imagine it’s to protect the taxation.

UT has an 80% tax on tobacco and does not allow online shipping of tobacco.

But didn’t they legalize drugs in WA? Follow the money.

Here in Vermont legislation is advancing to ban menthols and flavored tobacco products yet maple flavored candy containing THC is available. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

A quick Goggle search says that both bills regard the sale of cannabis.

In the definitions of that RCW, it states "For purposes of section 2 of this act only, "tobacco product" does not include cigars defined in RCW 82.26.010 as to which one thousand units weight more than three points."

Cigars remain the exception.
