I just heard on the news yesterday was the passing of two greats in my lifetime, Capt Kangaroo, and Ann Miller the dancer.
Sad day as I cant remember Capt Kangaroo not being around!!

Heard the news.

A few years ago managed to catch him on a radio interview. What a wealth of knowledge that man was. Yet his lighthearted approach to life & learning was always uplifting & easy to absorb.

I just hope that when I die, I would have at least touched a small number of people the way he touched so many of us.
