Is 63-64% RH too low to store cigars at? Will they end up cracking?

Carp were you just over in the Pipe forum and someone told you the RH for pipe tobacco is different ?
For cigars your numbers are good. FUZZY does both stick plus pipe so I might ask him .

 me too I might be crazy ! I'm home today and the campaign commercials are driving me crazy so I turned the TV on the 70's music channel now it's going on with phone, got Newt and senator Santorium and some politician from Ohio on the phone all reminding me to vote. The last one was Bob Barker no crap !!

I had a cigar last night straight from my B&M at 70% and it went out 7 times. A cigar I gave a friend from my 65% winedor burned perfectly to the end. I'm a believer!

i have 65 percent beads in my desktop, i give them a spritz of distilled water when I get around 60%, sometimes it takes months to drop that low. Sometimes, weeks depending on the rh in my home.

I use kitty litter in my cooler, and the same idea, I spray it to 65%, then after a month or so when it hits 60%, I recharge them.

Do not knock yourself out, cigars are tougher than you think, and honestly the way they smoke should be your most important gauge.

good luck!
