Is it okay to use my Zippo with Zippo brand fuel to light my sticks? Or would that harm them. Im sick of trying to use matches outside haha. Just curious.

Ive heard that zippos shouldnt be used in to light up a stogies. What is you alls take on this? I know its ok to use with pipes if you let it burn for a few secconds to get rid of the chemical taste. Sugguestions and comments are greatly appreciated. MArk

It has been awhile, but I thought I had read several informal studies about the use of Zippos to light cigars and that the result was that such lighters do not impart a flavor to the cigar. I have recently heard to the contrary. What is everyones' opinion on this matter?
