I back up my DVDs to my PC harddrive and I thought it would be cool to be able to transfer movies to my Tivo S3 to watch. I read some instructions online and used DVDshrink. I then changed the .vob to a .mpg as per the instructions found here http://www.zatznotfunny.com/dvdshrink.htm. It seemed...
One... set it to record an F1 race, only to open up your computer and happen to see on the stupid news gadget in window vista who the winner was.
Two... forget to set it and miss part of the TN/Aub game... Go Vols anyway.
Three... listen to your answering machine when your father calls to...
What's everyone have set to record during the week?
We have the following:
Sons of Anarchy
It's always sunny in Philadelphia
I don't watch the last 2 shows, those are for Dani.
I know I can check over on the Tivo message boards for this, but I thought I would ask here also.
Has anyone ever upgraded the harddrive on their tivo? If so, how hard was it to do? Any tips you can give?
I am wanting to put this one in my Series 3 because the current drive has gone bad...
Guys and Gals, dunno if any of you are freaks for the TiVo or not, or maybe you are looking to try the TiVo thing... if you are, then here is an awesome deal for ya:
80-Hour Tivo for Free with 1-Year Agreement (factory renewed box)
A great deal while it lasts. Enjoy!
I have a LIKE NEW TIVO Series2 80 Hour DVR, that I want to sell.
I have had it for about 2 years and it works great! I just dont want
to spend the extra $12 for the subscription since I am living on my
own now. I would sell it for $150 cash +shipping or I would be willing
to trade for some...
