So lately, I've had several different cigars that I've tried. I needed to branch out my tastes. However, some of the cigars I've had just weren't my cup of coffee. The worst part about it all though, is that I can't describe why I don't like it! I would love some help in learning how to describe...

Okay....Since I started smoking cigars a little over a year ago, I've been smoking Drew Estate and Tabak Especial:shocked: cigars. Obviously they have very pronounced tastes of coffee and milk chocolate. I recently started ordering CC's that have descriptions such as: Mild, Coffee, Cinnamon...

So I've been thinking lately about identifying specific tastes in cigars. I see a lot of people describe a cigar as tasting leathery , cedary, etc: and I can't even imagine what those things would taste like. So while thinking about it, I thnk that I came up with a cool idea. I'd like to see a...

Yes, I know this is one ugly cigar, but it is a great tasting smoke. With its tailor looking press, it is weird to hold it in your hand. Const. was... Read the full review here: Victor Sinclair Vintage Select Churchill Cigar Review - Ass Ugly Looks,Tastes Great

As someone who has smoked for a fair amount of time, and someone who knows what he likes, I can tell you that I don't REALLY know how to separate the actual tastes of the different parts of a cigar. I know that i like smooth, not too spicy and I know when I am smoking a cigar and the tastes...

So I sat down yesterday at a cigar lounge. I brought with me a one year old Padilla Miami, a 1959 Exodus Torpedo and a Tatuaje Angeles. But for whatever reason, they did not do much for me aside from the Exodus. I felt, well, bored. The cigars tasted as they should have tasted-- that was not...

Without getting into too much history, I was always a confirmed VA, VaPer and latakia smoker. OTC's were taboo for "real pipesmokers" (a fraternity I'm happy NOT to be a part of any longer) and flavored tobaccos were as well. After a 12 year hiatus I came back to pipes in 2007. I had...

OK, so I've had H.Upmann Mag 46 last night. It has that rotten grass/horse poop/barn stink to it. I LOVE IT! What other CCs smell and taste like that?

So over the last couple of days, I have been hitting the shop over here by work just picking up an ounce here and there to find my taste. I figured I would have been an aromatic kind of guy, so yesterday I picked up Black Cordial and 1M, both of which I am pretty sure are Altadis. The Black...

Hi All! Noob Martin is back to annoy everyone again :thumb: So here's what I taste when I smoke a cigar, and I wanted to ask you if my experiences are normal. Basically I light the cigar, puff it a few times while rotating it, so it catches evenly, and then I let it cool for a minute. Then I...

Since I have discovered my affinity for VA/Per and Flakes I can't smoke any aromatics at all. I have just a couple that aren't all that bad but just taste very artificial now. It's not like they are what I consider "heavy aros" either but I just can't stand 'em. Anyone in the same boat?

Opus FF vs. PL. I smoked both of these the past week. The FF was a more rounded smoke, i enjoyed it more than the PL. Maybe just the moods i was in at the times. Some people swear by the PL, but ive always liked the FF, ever since the mid 90s.

Not here. Not once, I'll bet. A blog I recently stumbled across had a semi-buried comment from poor old "chip." I doubt chip is here but, if so, please feel free to chime in and set me straight if I'm off base. Poor chip said pipe smoking smells good but the next day, just like cigars, it...

Anybody have flavors or tastes that they really don't like? Old saddle leather makes you sick? Hay and grass doesn't do it for ya? Sweat from a mangy mule's left buttock is too much for yer palette? Rose hips and Mulberry vines annoys you? < G > Post it here if there's a taste (or even an...

Stylistically anyways. Has anyone been a fan of one shape only to completely switch gears? I have traditionally been a 3/4 or full bent pipe type of guy. In fact, that is all I own. However, I now love the look of a billiard or possibly even a bulldog. I have no idea why. I just love the clean...
