This was the second cigar I smoked out of my awesome Shuckins bomb. Smoked it while sitting my porch with some friends on a beautiful Minnesota summer afternoon, drinking strawberry lemonade and playing poker. Going to blame my overall poor poker performance on this cigar as it was quite good...

So, I just really got into puffing as more than just the occasional single cigar two to three times a year. Probably my fifth smoke since taking up the hobby was a Comacho triple maduro. Smoked it down to the nub and man, it put me on my rear end, but in a good way. Had to sit down and chill...

Hello guys, I believe Jeff already told me where I can buy straight perique and the such to make my own blends. My buddy who works at a local smoking lounge- 70/70 cigars is a little nutty! He was joking about smoking straight perique and I said "it can be done"! If someone could point me in...

I have only smoked a handful of different Marcas and so far I am loving my CC's. The oldest cuban I've had is an '08 Trinidad coloniales from David. It was great and almost made me bust out the wallet. Now I am smoking an '06 Partagas super Partagas and holy crap! If this is what happens after a...

I've tried several blends including Smyphany, light English, and black rasberry. But my favorite is the straight English. What other tobaccos should I try that are more in line with the English? The sweet smell of some of the tobaccos does not agree with me. :twitch:

I have a new, unsmoked Eriksen straight bulldog pipe. This pipe is absolutely beautiful, I just never liked the way it felt in my mouth, so I never smoked it. The pipe has beautiful grain throughout and is stamped Eriksen Handmade in Denmark. I will try and post some pictures soon, just have to...

  15. Coffee Discussion
Do you prefer to drink a blend or limit it to one type of coffee so you can detect the differences? Sometimes one sometimes the other? I want to get into roasting and I feel like I should stay away from blends for the time being so I can get a handle on what a particular coffe region has to offer.

What are some good straight VAs I need to try, I have not tried any yet but from what I hear I am sure I will enjoy them. I plan on ordering some GLP Union Square, I would get some FVF if that isn't just a myth, also 1792 when I can, what else do you think is worth trying? If P&C has it that is...

Local cigar shop gave me one the other day (Oxmoor Smoke Shoppe in Louisville, Ky) to try. What a great smoke. I like a full bodied cigar, like the Oliva series V, and this one was right up my ally. Has a really earthy smell on pre-light. It packs a pretty good punch too, alot of flavor. Not a...
