Just got 12 or these and 12 of the RA Pacific 09. Beautiful and fragrant cold. Lovely construction. Definitely not ready for prime time, however. Perfect burn but bitter and lots of ammonia. I suffered through only half before throwing it out and then enjoyed a lovely CoRo. I suspect I won't...

So I decided to smoke an '01 SLR A that I got in a pass not that long ago. So far all of my CC experiences have been unimpressive, don't get me wrong I've enjoyed them, just have never been like "wow, that was a great cigar". I dunno if it's the age on it, or if these sticks are just awesome...

In my unoffical quest to sample the best maduros, I went way outside my comfort zone and picked up a Camacho SLR Maduro. I was somewhat nervous as I've heard the Camachos can have quite a kick, ...but what the heck. My smoking technique is take long slow draws to reduce the heat/harshness as...

Got some of these in a trade recently. Dark oily maduro looking wrapper. Perfect construction. Looks bigger than 47 RG. Taste is med-full flavor and spicy, cedary in the beginning. As with the londsdale the pre-95 blend on these is stronger than the recent ones. Nice touch of sweetness also...
