Decent stick but certainly not great. Woody and just a short hint of spice. No burn problems this stick burned pretty evenly all the way through. I... Read the full review here: Gurkha Vintage Shaggy Toro Cigar Review - Average

Found 2 El Mejor Emerald's sitting at the bottom of my humidor, guess my brother put them in there... I started to unwrap one and found that the end was exposed, and was just curious if I need to light it differently than I would anything else?

Let me start by saying I am not much of a fan of Dominican tobacco. And in Canada, even moderately priced cigars are expensive. At almost $30 thi... Read the full review here: Gurkha Vintage Shaggy XO Cigar Review - Strange Shaggy XO

About a year ago I bought a Gurkha Shaggy at my local B&M and loved it! They stopped carrying them and I pretty much forgot about them. Well the B&M has them again but the wrappers are different now. The new shipment comes in either a maduro or a connecticut wrapper. The older ones they had...

Me and my gf went for an afternoon in Sydney's Darling Harbour on Saturday arvo/night. We stayed for dinner in Chinatown then went and walked along the harbour afterwards. Dinner was peking duck with plum sauce and honey chicken, with a Tooheys Extra Dry. The night was perfect. Weather was...

I read these reviews very often and I take alot from them. So, in an effort to give back any much as I take, here is my take on the Ghurka Shaggy. This stick was given to me by a good friend. I let it sit in my humi for some time, and I recently felt the urge to light 'er up. This is a gorgeous...

How do you all go about lighting a shaggy footed cigar? This is one that I've not had personal experience with. Do you just light it up? Is there a special way to toast the foot so it starts on an even burn? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on some and was just curious. Thanks:ss

So I'm sitting here smoking my first Ghurka Shaggy. Great cigar so far but the first part kind of disturbed me. Has anyone else noticed that when you light up the "shaggy" end that after it burns and turns to gray and black ash that it kind of resembles Don King's hair?
