Hello Fello Puff members,
Just a quick question, how many of you rotate your cigars in your humidors? I have two humidors which are pretty full and I was wondering if anyone rotates their stock or am I just being anel.
Marty Pulver just posted a group of 4 very nice pipes on his Specials page. Here's the description:
On the bottom is a Peterson shape #307 in good cond., but
with weak nomenclature and a couple of scratches on the other
side of the bowl. upper left Bulldog is a Peterson Kapet in exc...
My normal rotation involves:
Rocky Patel Decade
Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Corojo
Avo No. 3
Oliva Series "G" Maduro Perfecto (I wish all cigars came in this size)
5 Vegas Gold Maduro
5 Vegas Gold A
Oliva Reserve Connecticut
Gurkha Black Dragon Robusto
For special occasions I've got an...
As it stands now, I only have one pipe. It is a pipe my grandfather gave me. I have been looking for an inexpensive (read: cheap) way to fill in my rotation.
To put this into terms some will understand well:
I don't need to have the Miami Heat. I don't even need Chris Bosh. Right now I would be...
Pretty much have been smoking deeper, rich, Maduros for a while (MOW Ruination, Perdomo Habano Maduro, Perdomo Oscuro, Oliva O, Alex Bradley MAXX)...stuff like that and am getting bored with them. Looking for some super spicy sticks that'll really make my sinuses beg for mercy!
There is something about a rope tobak that makes me want to try it! Something dark and strong! So, I was wondering if anyone had opinions on ropes they like or have one in regular rotation. I want to get an order shipped up north here so I wanna hedge my bet with some opinions on what folk like...
This is one that gets me thinking. I was reading how someone said that with 80 odd pipes he needs to slim down the collection just to have an effect rotation, meaning too many is just impractical and unworkable. I have close to 50, I think I should get it down to 30 and I think having 25 up and...
Currently I have 6 briar pipes and I'm trying to figure out which is the best way to rotate them. I smoke 3-4 bowls a day and so far I've decided to just rotate my pipes in order to let each rest as long as possible. Would it be better to smoke just one or two pipes (possibly more than once...
Some of us have been lucky enough to acquire cigars to age them. I’ve reached the point that it isn’t worth the trouble to rummage through one of my stand alone humidors and a coolidor. My daily smokes are in other humidors that are much more accessible.
That brings us back to the original...
I'm curious what all you puffers always have a supply of on hand. What blends are your constant companions? For me:
Rattray's Hal O' The Wynd
Rattray's Red Rapparee
Samuel Gawith's Squadron Leader
Stokkebye's French Vanilla (2-4 oz, for something...
I've read posts where some of you fellas state that a certain cigar is in your "rotation". I didn't think you were referring to rotation in the humidor for the sake of even aging and humidity. So what is this rotation you speak of?
Ok, i'm sure this has been done before but oh well. And one of my other threads pretty much turned into a "list your rotation" thread indirectly, so i'm making this one obvious.
As of now, what's your rotation? If you don't have one just yet, list the blends you just can't put down.
I've been smoking Sancho Panza DM's, 601 reds, and AVO #9 maddies almost exclusively.
I found that I like Cohiba Secretos maddies, I tried an LGC that was delicious but wouldn't stay lit, and I managed to trade beads for another Cohiba maddie that I'm going to burn here very shortly. I think I'm...
