Good draw and burn for the most part. It did tend to burn lopsided; however, it corrected itself most of the time. The flavors were pretty much t... Read the full review here: Don Pepin Cuban Classic Robusto 1979 Cigar Review - Robust Oh

I grabbed up a few of these in a tobacco trade. They're really not bad at all. The only Mac I ever smoked that really had much flavor. Still overpriced for what they are, I wouldn't hesitate to smoke them, I just wouldn't buy them.

Today I tried my first 5 Vegas cigar. I got these in a mixed sampler a several months ago so they have been in the humidor for some time. I had read a number of good comments about the Vegas line so I was glad to select one for tonight. That being said, I was not impressed with the cigar. While...

Tonight the reading material harkens back to the mid eighties. Back to the days when Sean Penn and Madonna were married, six foot satellite dishes, and the Soviet Union was an actual country. The famous Steve Dallas broken back (broken by a drunk and grumpy Sean Penn) and the peak of Bill the...

Tom (icehog3), Bob (discdog), Ray (4WheelVFR) and I decided to Cyber Herf this weekend and the cigar of choice was the Edicion Limitada Montecristo Robusto from 2006. I figured I would just jump straight into my review. Appearance: This cigar had a very substantial feel and felt very nice in...

After smoking and reviewing the Mac Ascot, I thought I'd try a larger one. So, on Saturday I picked up a Mac Robust Hampton Court. 5.7 x 43. Actual was 5.5 x 40. Prelight was a nice mellow aroma. Lit nice and even with a smooth draw. Ashed at 3/4 inch so I wouldnt have to vacuum again. It...

I smoked a Macanudo Robust tonight. I was with my friend for our weekly meet-up to play guitar, drink some vodka, then smoke a cigar while we play the game of go. We were in Spec's down here in Houston and we were having a hard time finding something that we wanted to smoke. We settled on the...

5.7" x 43 $9.00 for a 5 pack. Another pack fresh from CBid, just delivered Monday. The appearance and construction reminds me of a Padron Londres Maduro. Prelight aroma was pleasing as was the prelight draw and flavor. No sure how to describe it, but to me Macanudo's smell and taste like...

My first review and thought this is a nice gar to start with. Size... slightly over 4" with 32 ring Prelight... good smell, had a stronger smell than other mini's I've smoked, so I anticipated a stronger flavor. Lit quick and flawless as a small cigar should. Drew a bit tight so I poked the...

Kicking around a closeby B&M, I was looking for something inexpensive and new, something I'd never even considered trying. I love length, for most of my sticks and the Macnudo Robust Portofino caught my attention. As DBall would say "It's the length of a toddler's arm!" It's the bloody...

I have been reading for years that Macanudos were overated, and have avoided buying any until about six weeks ago. I sprung for 10 of them at a J.R. auction. They have been hanging in my cooler at 65 RH since I recieved them. I like the size (6.5X42), I'm kind of partial to smaller ring sizes. I...
