So i was in a motorcycle accident 4 weeks ago. They reconstructed my right foot and patched me all up but did nothing for the PAD. These are all in route along with a bunch of new blends. 1st one is a Rad Davis and the others are Jake Hackert's. I can only imagine what else will happen on the...
So, while shopping for my last pipes, I noticed a lot of pipes with beautiful sandblast finishes, but these were all on very expensive pipes (at least for me, they were expensive)
Castello Old Antiquari, Ser Jacopo, Ashton, Dunhill, etc.
The sandblast style that shows really nice horizontal...
Want to get a new pipe and need some help. I would like it to be black, rusticated, and around $100. Shape? No billiard because I have one already. System or not? I don't have any clue. If they are high maintenance, I would say no.
So far I have these:

Hello! I am looking at possibly placing an order from marscigars.com. So far on my order is:
a bent General cob
a bent MacArthur cob
a 2 pack of softe bits (never used them...are they good?)
and a couple extra stems
I am thinking of adding another cob since his prices are so good.
As everybody following this thread knows by now, I slipped and tumbled quite dramatically down the slope. Well, I received my second pipe (yes, already...) in the mail a few days ago, from a great deal and transaction on eBay. It's the Nording shown below (the tobacco isn't mine).
Check out what I found at a local fleamarket today:
Peterson Silver banded 69 halmarked 1978
Here's the kicker. They were marked at $40 a piece and I knocked it down to $45 for the pair! Score.
I find myself shopping around even before my latest purchase has arrived. The want is insatiable. I have a mental check list of pipes I want even though I don't always know what they are. You guys certainly don't help matters.
Sitting here and finished a Padron 1964 Anniversary maduro principe and realized that this cigar is one of the few that I smoke, that I finish down until my fingers burn that taste the same the entire time. As good in the last inch as the first.
I guess that's whay it's one of my top smokes...
I have a terrible case of PAD, which is only outdone by my horrible case of TAD! I already have 15 different tobaccos and I have only been back to smoking my pipes for about two months. I have also bought two Peterson pipes within days of each other. I'm gonna have to restrict my pipe purchases...
Happened to stop by the John B Hayes shop in Winchester, VA this afternoon, but wasn't expecting to spend any money. Until PAD bit me in the arse!
Found a Savinelli Linea 76, shape 04 in a lovely burgandy colored blast finish. The price was right, the feel was right, and my mood was right...
I just had to do it. Ran into these on ebay and after a bit of talking with the seller; decided it had to be mine!
Tobacco Sampler - 6 1oz. tins - Danish production - Early '70s or sooner:
Cracked open the Plumcake tonight. Oh yeah!!! What a fantastic bowl!:tu
I've moved out into my own place now and the lawyer is starting to write drafts of the settlement agreement. If I'm lucky, I'll be a free man by spring. I'll be able to walk away with out any spousal support, not that she deserves any.
Funny thing about finding this apt. It took...
Just return from Dublin on wednesday night, as promised I include a few photo's of my Pipe adventures. It is almost impossible, these days, for me to be back in Dublin without popping into Peterson's. Already I have far too many pipes, but just couldn't resist a wee purchase. A red silver spigot...
madurofan made me do it ... yeah ... that's the ticket:
picked up a couple of tins of VA/Pers a 2007 Cheer while I was at it. Fall is in the air. LoL!
No if only I could find some Momo, too (Freddy? Freddy?). :dr :r
...two new pipes, a Night n Day Stanwell Poker, a Rattray's Old Gowrie black sandblast Rhodesian, sweet pipes, real good price too. Baccy; Prince Albert, just to see what all you yanks are talking about, Paul Olson B93, Larsen's No.50 sweet aro, Dunhill EMP and Nightcap just because I can't get...

Long story short he loved it so he took it home. We got home and herfed it up, he the CW me the Tsuge.
