Has anyone found an alternative to the Oust fans? Apparently they were discontinued. I looked at multiple stores then looked online and they have been discontinued for a year.
So what are you guys using as an alternative for your coolidors etc? Just opening the door on occassion?
I am just building my 28 bottle NewAir Wineador at the moment (See below picture) and I and going to buying 1 or 2 Oust fans for some further air movement.

So I got the coleman 33qt party stacker cooler in last week and I wanted to make a timed fan system for it. I know it isn't necessary because it's a smaller cooler but I like doing things with my hands and I wanted to move the air a little bit. I'm still deciding but I may...
I have recently put together a coolerdor and was missing that one component to complete it, the elusive Oust fan. After searching high and low and everywhere in between for the almost extinct fan, Brother Tritones came to the rescue. To insure it would be safe on its journey to the east coast...

As a newbie (still in my 5 day trial period) and having read tons over the last week I have been impressed with the wealth of info and contributions from others as well as the general PIF attitude that is very refreshing.
So in the PIF spirit, I hereby commit on the PUFF bible to develop a...

Hey guys. I was at the Dollar store tonight with the little lady. As always I'm on the lookout for some MacGuyverable items. This time I spotted a little battery operated fan much like the discontinued Oust fan that many BOTLs use to circulate air in their humis.
$2 + tax. Not a bad deal...
i have a 12 bottle haier cooler that's tall and skinny and i just got in 2 oust fans.
i was just wondering how you place your oust fans in there.

i took the cover off, but i just want to know what's the best way to place them.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but saw these today at Sam's club. Sorry Team WA.. took these with my phone. Costs around $10, runs on AA. Didn't pick any up, but they are obviously readily available.
I'm still in the process of putting a coolerdor together and was wondering if there's a current source for oust fans or their equivalent (battery-powered, timed low CFM fans)? IIRC, the oust fans are no longer in production.
I'm also looking for a reliable and accurate remote...
I recently purchased an oust fan from heartfelt for my coolidor but the thing has the floral scent all over it from being inside the package
Any advice on how to get rid of this before putting it into my cooler?
I already did a really good wipe down with alcohol but the smell is still there
I have an oust fan for my humidor from several years ago that bit the dust..i know heartfelt carries them online but anyone know if any national chain retailers carry them these days
I heard the manufacturer discontinued them..I want to buy some locally..
I just wanted to let everyone know that I found some more OUST fans. They are getting harder and harder to find so who knows how much longer we can get them. If you are interested they are here now.
I have access to quite a few oust fans, new in packaging with battery included. I'm really looking to trade with others for cigar's. I can also sell these if need be if no one wants to trade. I wouldn't make any money on them they are $8 plus shipping if you would like to purchase.
I just bought a new cabinet style humidor (much like the verona or pienza) and was wondering if the Oust fans are really needed or not. I understand what they do, but I wasnt sure if they really make a difference since the Heartfelt beads seem to maintain the RH levels so well...
