First box out of 5 I've bought where it was harsh ROTT! Other boxes I've had the sticks were good ROTT and got better with age. This last box......whooeee....only got 1/3 way through one to try it out and said "enough!". I hope this is just a fluke and they need more rest. Wonder if it's...

I liked the dark look of this cigar, and the wrapper leaf was silky to the touch. The pre-light was strong, like a good cigar should be. The init... Read the full review here: Diesel Diesel Unlimited Cigar Review - Bold with a hint of harsh

So yesterday i go to light up a stick, and it's harsh... real harsh, not snorkable at all. so i put it down and let it go out in my garage which is in a pretty good humi-like environment. today, i lit it up, and what do you know, it's smooth as silk out the nose and it tastes like roses. I...

My gf got me a box of the AB Maxx traditional torpedoes for x-mas along with the AB premium sampler which included a siboney, overture, fix, and the tempus. Well Im currently smoking the Tempus as I write this and I must say I am not in the least bit impressed. Its harsh, lacks complexity, and...

I guess this is half tutorial and half brainstorming session. I've only been smoking seriously for about 5 months, but I probably have close to a hundred sticks under my belt. I figure I'm as equipped as most anyone to share my opinions and experiences. Or I'm just a mouthy noob.:biggrin1...

OK, being a noob I wonder what is the difference between a spicy, peppery taste and harshness? I am thinking I may have been confusing the two tastes with my innocent little palette. I know taste is subjective, but any direction would help.

I hated this smoke. I had three of them and each was harsh and had no characteristics of habano tobacco. A waste of money. Read the full review here: Camacho 1962 Pre Embargo Cigar Review - Boring and harsh

I'm sure I will get hammered on asking the following but I'm gonna ask anyway. Would like some input on why some cigars have a harsh or sharp taste that drys out my mouth. I have found this with most NC's and very, very few CC's. Obviously it's me because so many guys love the NC's. Can it be...

Every once in a while, I will "over smoke" a cigar - I'll draw too much too often. It seems to burn hot and then ends up tasting a bit harsh. Is there any fix for the harshness or should I just finish it the way it is or simply toss it? :cb

My humidor is carrying the 65% heirtfelt beads, and the % never goes any higher than 62%....:hn BUt it seems to me the cigars are becoming alittle more harsh. Is a lower humidity suppose to change the flavor as a posed to a higher humidity like 70%? thanx everyone!

I had a Petite Corona on fathers day night. First off this is not a review. I’m not very good at those, but I will tell you what I thought about it. It smelled good, perfect construction, nice wrapper, and cut perfectly. Prelight draw was easy with just a little resistance. Well as I was...

  19. Cigar Questions
In my second humidor, a small one, where the humidity drops below 65% sometimes (around 60-63%), I noticed a few of the cigars I smoked there have become harsher. Also, some of the wrappers cracked a little when smoking. I suspect it's because the humidity is too low? How to fix this up? I'm...

You guys are really pushing me down the slope! I have spent over sixty bucks on singles only in the past month. That sounds like chump change to some of you I'm sure, but that is a TON for me. I used to be a one a week smoker but now I am going to three or four a week. I have ordered my first...
