  1. Cigar Questions
I've smoked a few different Gurkhas and i've found them to my liking, specifically the black dragon fury nublizer, and the widowmaker maduro churchill, yet every site i go to there's always someone who flames (interesting choice of a word) the Gurkha brand. I'm interested in peoples'...

I was very pleasantly surprised by this cigar. Some inexpensive Connecticut wrapper cigars don't have a lot of flavor. The price on this one is very low and that can mean hit or miss. Further, I have found Ghurka itself to be very hit or miss (they make some of my favorite cigars, and...

OK, I'm not someone who has a refined enough palate to detect subtle coffee and spice notes in a cigar like so many reviews. I'm not going to tell you to expect such specific flavors, but I will finally get around to reviewing a few cigars (especially those I'm always suggesting to others to...

  8. Want to Buy (WTB)
Yeah, yeah... I know... I'm now dangerously curious. Morbidly so. Wait, Ted... arent' you the guy that hates Ghurkas? Yes, I am. Put all of your prejudging aside. Just play along. I would like to trade for / buy ONE Ghurka Beast. One. Not two, not three, not four, not five. Just one. No...

Have any of you fellows sampled the Ghurka Cognac Infused Tubos? I was paging through some cigar catalogs and became intrigued with these cigars. Unfortunately, I have only seen them sold in conjunction with boxes of Ghurkas. Like if you buy a box, you get five free tubos. While I am really...

I read these reviews very often and I take alot from them. So, in an effort to give back any much as I take, here is my take on the Ghurka Shaggy. This stick was given to me by a good friend. I let it sit in my humi for some time, and I recently felt the urge to light 'er up. This is a gorgeous...

I got an email from CI about a 5-pack Ghurka sale. I don't have a lot of experience with Ghurka so I am curious what to try. Currently I have only had the Triple Ligero Let me know what you think.

This stick was gifted to me by Howland1998 in an extremely generous bomb. Thanks once again Gerry. This cigar is a 7 x 54 Torpedo. It has an awesome dark, oily maduro wrapper, with very few veins. After a quick clip I really expected the draw to be snug, but not at all. It had a great draw. The...

Mini-review: Annoying burn problem in the final third--almost a canoe. Other than that, perfect burn. Draw was perfect for the first 2/3, then very tight. Flavors detected: Field grass, cedar, oak, Italian herbs, pizza crust. Also something like fresh-cut tree, if you have ever cut trees...

So I'm sitting here smoking my first Ghurka Shaggy. Great cigar so far but the first part kind of disturbed me. Has anyone else noticed that when you light up the "shaggy" end that after it burns and turns to gray and black ash that it kind of resembles Don King's hair?
