Wow...I am back to the office...returned from a fun and successful trip to Split Rock and Cigar Fest 2011! Here are a few pics for those of us who weren't able to make the journey (though I HIGHLY sugggest that you make the trip at least once in your life...so much fun!)!!
First in the $80,000...
Can any one tell what to do when I am there? Good place to stay, eat, Cigar shop? I will be there Sunday after Cigar fest with my buddy. It is just until Monday. So for a day or so. Any INFO would be greatly appreciated.
Well got to meet Cynthia Fuente last weekend. It was quite the experience.
I brought my Journey to Chateau De La Fuente set and got it signed.
She had to go to the restroom so she asked me to man the table. She was gone about 15 minutes and I sold a bunch of sampler packs. Ended up selling Sean...
I puffed one shortly after I got it and it was good but definitely needed to sit for a bit... it was all spice.
I parked them in the cooler and I took one with me to work today to puff on the ride home.. WOW.. what a difference that little time made in these sticks. This is smoking beautifully...
Who here has been to cigar fest? Do you have any tips for me so I can maximize my experience? I would like to come away with some nice sticks to bring home from the event and with Davidoff, Tatuaje, Pepin and loads of others being there I should be able to (at least I hope)!
We will be...
I will be making the 7 hour drive on April 30th to Split Rock PA for CI's annual Cigar Fest and plan on smoking my brains out that day...sampling several different things and really enjoying myself. Now, I would like to be sure to enjoy each cigar that I choose to smoke that afternoon to its...
I'm taking a few days off and heading to Tampa for the Cigar Heritage Festival to be held on Saturday (21st). Who else is going? This will be my first time and don't really know what to expect. I went to grad school at USF back in the mid-80's but wasn't into cigars then. Shame on me.
Here's a little thread I thought I'd start up to share your thoughts on this year's Fest! It's the 40th Anniversary Fest!
This was our fifth and possibly the best yet.
Here's a list of all the bands we managed to see (and it ain't all Jazz, it's all types of music if you don't know):
Squid® took some pictures of the Argenese, Cujene Pre-Release party (2008/10/17) at Cigar Cigar; but didn't get them published online anywhere. Here's one of Gene Argenese and Eddie Ortega...
Not sure if anybody wants to see any of the other shots...

Thank You for your time Luis.
Cypress (Sam) was looking to try a variety of lanceros so we worked out a trade and met up at Texas Fest. I'm liking my end of the deal big time.

Finally got to a Nub event today. Got to meet Sam, and it's been said a million times before, he is one of the coolest guys in the world. Because of the morning rain, the crowd was a little light while I was there, but that left me with over an hour of time to just chill w/ Sam and shoot the...
