This is my first ever review of a cigar so... well .. wolf with me.
Manufacturer : Altadis U.S.A

Wrapper : Indonesia (?)
Filler: Dominican/Indonesia (?)

(?) It means I have no idea if the regular corona is the same with the glass...
I got these in the mail today and wanted to share. These are the new LP40 from Liga Privada / Drew Estates - this a Lancero size or as close as they could get and keep the blend right on the Liga.
These next ones are pretty special since you can't buy them and they won't be released for...
Brand: Drew Estates, Tabak Especial
Line: Red Eye
Size: 4.5" X 54
MSRP: I get them for between $3.50 - $4.50 on the devil site
I am a little reluctant to review this cigar because I had some biases against infused cigars before I...
Smoked my first Padron tonight and it was great - 1964. Thinking about trying a sampler and am wondering if anybody here digs the Naturals.
Just testing the waters.....also eyeing up the CAO black as well.
Thanks in advance!
When I think of Drew Estates, I automatically think infused cigars so when I found out about the Liga Privadas (I still can't find these in my local B&M's) I was surprised by the cult following. Is there anything else from Drew Estates that I should be aware of?
I decided to open up my December edition of Cigar Aficionado last night and was checking out the article on Drew Estates. Aside from it being fairly interesting the drift I got is it appears they're going to switch much of their focus to creating more traditional cigars such as the Liga's...
So, is this true? I'm not up to snuff on these matters as many here are. Maybe the reason behind the LP shortages? Maybe if they made more sticks along those parameters no difficulties would exist or maybe that has nothing in common with it? Who knows?
Hope they hang around, those LP's are...

So heres the Egg Maduro, looking nice and oily and waiting to be torched

Mark your calenders fellas!
Big event coming up next month, Thursday May 20th at Utopia Cigars in Chicago. Reps from Gurkha and Drew Estates will be there from 5pm-10pm. It's a smaller "old school" shop, so seating and parking will be limited. I suggest car-pooling, if possible. BYOB is...
Well, decided to order my first ever infused sticks, Drew Estates Cafe con Leche. My 10 pack arrived yesterday and and I must say, they smell awfully good. I guess if you're going to flavor a stick, coffee is the way to go?
Haven't sparked one up yet...they feel a little soft so I'll let them...
Roy here from the oilpatch of Alberta. My Story starts 20 years ago as an occasional smoker of pipes and cigars while usually fishing, golfing, or playing poker. Through the years this trended towards more nicotine and less pleasure (cigarettes and Skoal) so over the last couple years I...
(Hi guys, I am new here so if you hate my review or I post in the wrong section please don't kill me...)
A friend of mine recently traded me a couple of infused cigars from Drew Estates. I have smoked one so far and my review is below:
The Appearance: Dark an oily. Very attractive as...
Decided this afternoon, with St. Patrick's Day looming, to fire up the Drew Estates Irish Hops that's been resting in my humidor. Wanted to pair it with a Guiness, but didn't have one in the fridge. So I popped open a Lagunitas Zappa Stout.
The Irish Hops is a beautiful cigar, with a nice...

It's a cold crappy rainy morning in Houston, but I cheered myself up a bit by enjoying a Liga Privada Toro with my morning coffee. During the time I worked at Cigar Cigar this was a much-sought-after cigar by the members and guests there, but I've not heard much in the way of opinions about it...
