Time for the latest in my "smoke my way through my noob trade stuff" adventure. Today I chose Escudo with some help from my BOTL's in another of my "I don't feel like making my own decision" threads. Got home from work and relaxed for a few, then gathered my smoking supplies. Pipe? Check...

When I was born my father laid down several nice bottles of port and some wine too I believe. In keeping with the family tradition and in accordance with my new found hobby, I was thinking of purchasing some tins of Escudo and laying them down for my son, along with some of my favorite port and...

I smoked these years ago and found them again so I thought see if they had changed. Most have a decent wrapper with no soft spots but some are qui... Read the full review here: Escudo Cubano Robusto Cigar Review - Good but not exciting

Stokkebye's Escudo is absolutely terrific tobacco. I was sent this in a PIF from Jack Straw/Andrew. It was the first tobacco from those samples that I tried, and I quickly smoked it down. I loved it. I had 3 coins left that I was holding on to until I could get more, and I just picked up...

So I cracked open my tin of Escudo as I heard so many good things about it. Hate to say it but I was disappointed. No matter how many times I tried it I could not get into it. I know there a lot of Escudo lovers out there, but I won't be one of them. I guess that is why everyone has their...

Hey gang, I just blew a tire, and need some extra cash. I haven't had a chance to smoke my pipe much, so I figured I would send out some tobaccy. Shipping on each order is $5 no matter how many tins. 8 oz Stonehaven sealed in jar. I paid $35, so I would like to get that. 8 oz FVF...

I packed this bowl last fall just before the first snow of the year. As I can't smoke inside it sat on the shelf all winter. I was a bit scared to try it but decided to give it a go last night. Surprisingly, it was amazing. I had actually forgotten what I had packed and was looking forward...

Ive had a tin of Escudo open for a year stored in a glass jar and man did this stuff get GOOD! I smoked it right after a bowl of SG MVF and wow! Amazing flavor. It seemed to have mellowed just a little bit. As of late ive become a bit Va fan. This is just the icing on the cake.

I have a 2 oz tin of Union Square (tinning date Sept 4, 2009) I'd like to trade for a tin of AC Peterson Escudo (not the newer one), just so I can say I've got one, I guess...anyone interested?

Is this stuff discontinued or something? I ask because I was at the B&M today, and saw a tin that was in the "teens" as far as price goes. Can't remember exactly how much though. It gets talked about a lot here on the forums, so I thought I'd ask. I picked up some Luxury Bullseye flake to...

I'm surprised no one has noticed ... Escudo is no longer an A&C Petersen product! :scared: Below is the pic, kinda big but the only way to read the labels. Left side is the old ACP label, right side is the new Scandinavian Tobacco Group label. Yeah, its no longer "fine tobacco", just...

Hey gang, I had some issues with having to re-lighting the pipe ever 4 minutes. I packed it well, but I just couldn't get it going. Was it maybe too dry. I grabbed it from the tin at the B&M, don't know how long it has been open.

Just wanted to let all the Escudo fans know that pipes&cigars has Escudo back in stock.

I've always groused over the tins with no birthdates on them. I have been noticing a pattern with Escudo tins, I have them hidden well (worth their weight in gold, nay, latinum) and usually they never last long enough to be examined in detail. Yes, I smoke that like its going outta business...

I just acquired my first two tins of Escudo. One from another pipe smoker that was in his tobacco cellar since June of 07, and one from Cup o Joes. I was looking at the tins and the older one was distributed by Lane Limited, while the newer one is distributed by Villager Stokkebye. Is there any...

I got a couple of tins of Escudo to trade and one to smoke, and man is this stuff good! I've only smoked one bowl so I'm nowhere near writing a review but wanted to share my enthusiasm. I read some good things about it, but only ended up ordering it because it was a request in a...

I was looking to make another order at pipesandcigars for cellaring. They have Escudo for about 7.50/tin. It was 10.00 a tin, so I scarfed some of that, some Penzance, and 8oz of Anni Kake. Here's the pr0n.
