This Cigar was given to me by my boss with the words, " Here you go, now this here is a manly smoke". Knowing his years of devotion to the Leaf, I never doubted him for a second and...

Sorry, no piccies with this one. I just took it out of the humi and sparked it... not thinking.
Prelight was really interesting. I couldn't really detect any notes other than aged Ligero, but I did feel an eyebrow shoot upward. The wrapper is a rather inconsistent dark brown. Lots of tooth and...
Well this is my first review lets see how it goes.
Pre light: The cigar has a very strong floral almost citrusy scent to it. The wrapper was flawless and had no imperfections. I knew this was going to be a great cigar.
Had my first LFD Ligero last night. A very nice medium/full body smoke with flavors of pepper and spice. Great draw/burn and paired nicely with Harpoon Dark Ale. I think ecto1 bombed me with this one, thank you sir. Here is my scoring:
My buddy is going to DR for a wedding in April. I am going to have him grab a few boxes for me. According to TSA he can bring back 100 cigars, and his wife is good for 100.
What manufacturers have great deals on the island as comapred to the states? Are Opus, Ashton ESG etc etc cheaper and...
Cigar: La Flor Dominica DL Chiselito

Appearance/Construction: Perfect in every way. A beautiful smooth dark brown wrapper with a one noticeable good sized vein running from head to foot.

La Flor Dominica Double Ligero Especial Churchill
I picked up one of these last night at the B&M while hanging out with fellow Gorilla Mikey Burr (he does not post much) and we went outside and I fired it up. Here was my take on it.
Taste: PEPPER, PEPPER, PEPPER. It smoothed out in the...
I sat out on the deck this afternoon smoking this stick. I let it age about two months since I bought it at the local B&M. When I saw it in the store I thought "Man, that looks nice, I gots to get on of them!!" For the most part, I was not disappointed. Nice white ash, full-bodied, complex...
I'm not one for flowery reviews; given that, this is one of the best non-ISOM cigars I've ever had.
Construction/Presentation........I just picked up a box of these beauties. The color and construction on these appear to be perfect. I'm usually drawn to larger ring cigars. This is the first...
I originally had 9 pictures for this but it limited me to 5. Is there anyway to add more pictures? Anyways heres the shortened review:
Not much has been found about this cigar so I decided to do a review.
They say this cigar is a poor man's Macanudo as I recently bought 50 of these from...
The light Domican flower is anything but! Closest thing I have had to an ISOM - rich full flavor that is so satisfying. Earthy and complex, this cigar is for the person who enjoys a full bodied cigar.
The construction of La Flor Dominica cigars is impeccable! Always a smooth, even burn that...
