Or can i just use my opened tins with the caps on them? I just got some stuff from C&D, and it has a normal plastic lid, one that im sure its not 100% airtight. do you only need airtight containers to store tobacco without them going bad... or is that just for aging?

I was trying to think of more visually appealing ways to hold beads, and I found some old Excalibur sampler boxes I had from some years ago. They both heald 3 cigars each, so they're about 3 x 6 x 1...

So last Christmas i got some Xmas Cheer 08, popped the tin, took half with me to school and left the remainder of the tin at home (in hopes to age). Will there be any aging going on in that opened tin? I know it would have been better in a jar, but let me know that all is not lost :violin:

I was as Target today and they make them pretty darn lardge. Has anyone used one with beads and if so is the seal tight enought. I know many have used the large coolers with great luck but these seem a bit cheaper and larger. I would be keeping it in the basement so not to worry of it getting...

Check this out: http://tightvac.com/ I bought 5 of the smallest ones off Ebay. Seems like a cool product and a perfect answer to keeping aromas and flavors intact after opening a tin. At times I may have a tin open for months, and I have noticed that the aromas and flavors fade over time...
