Hey all, I really never properly introduced myself when I joined this forum on the cigar side so I figured I would now that I have been resurrected and begun life anew as a pipe puffer. The name's Will; 20 years old and I'm from the good state of PA where you still (so far) at least have the...
I finally decided to start opening some tins I bought during a TAD in 1999. Cracked open a tin of Mac Baren Golden Extra. I still have some Plumcake I opened last year that I bought around the same time, and I enjoy that a lot. Nice broken flake, still moist, and very strong raisin/dry fruit...
As long as humidity and temperature is controlled, does anyone see a problem keeping a humidor in a cold cellar?
Just hoping to keep the temperature down, it is about 75F where they are stored bad which isnt bad but a little high.
Haier 16-Bottle Bamboo Wine Cellar
Has anyone run across these or used them as the wineador?
I found one locally and was hoping it might be a good addition as well as a project. Any input would be great. Thanks for helping a Vinotemp Noob out.
I've come to the conclusion that I thoroughly enjoy flakes, cakes, and am very curious about plugs. As such I decided to buy a bunch and try them out. So far I've picked out: (All 50g tins.)
H&H Anny Kake. 4oz.
P.S. Luxury Bullseye Flake. 4oz.
P.S. Luxury Twist Flake. 4oz.
I know I go through about a tin to a tin and a half per week, depending upon my schedule, but it always works out that my pace is less than a bowl per week and my stash will last more than 8 years. Does it just need to see me marking containers as used over a period of time to calculate a pace...
Anti-tobacco legislation and large tax hikes are always right on the horizon. With that in mind I would really like to do some serious stocking up on pipe tobacco. However, I would like to stock up a lot of a handful of blends I love, instead of small amounts of many different tobaccos. I am...
I got bored over the New Year break and built a better mousetrap, errr, tobacco cellar! :smash:
http://www.TobaccoCellar.com (yes, with a .COM at the end, not .org)
With some help from Commonsenseman it is now working properly, so I figured I'd let you guys know about it.
It does everything...
...some tobacco you forgot you had? And then asked yourself why you bought it in the first place?
A long time ago I bought a one oz sample of Mac Baren Virginia Flake. I remember thinking that it was a decent VA without an overabundance of flavor but certainly ok and certainly not something...
And pulled out a tin of Germain's 1820 Mixture. I bought this from my local b/m about a year ago, popped it open loaded a bowl, and resealed it only to forget about it until the other day.
Today I had the urge for some lat, but not in the dose that some other blends I have on hand would dish...
Times are tough guys and a man has to do what he has to do. I have the following tins for sale and all are sealed with a couple years of age on it (Some longer). I am selling these for less than they are currently marked on the online pipe vendors sites plus I will not charge tax as they have...
I saw the thread for pipes so I thought a tobacco thread to accompany the pipe thread would be nice. So i'll get things started.
1. Dunhill (over a Dozen sealed tins as well as several ounces of bulk)
2. G.L. Pease (same)
3. Esoterica Tobacianna (probably about 10 tins and several ounces of...

Just wanted to remind you that we have an Online Cellar sticky, where you can list your pipe tobaccos. I use mine primarily for tracking inventory.
If you have a cellar listed, let me know if you want it updated. If you want to create a cellar, it's easy. Just go to the site and create an...
Just wanted to relate my recent experience as I've been contacted by others having the same problem and don't want anyone else to get burned.
I placed the order on November 12th. On the 24th I get an email saying that the box of Kahlua cigars on the site were sold out but he would make a...
here ya go guys.... this site always runs a deal for one day, and one day only. so if you dont buy it today, you cant come back later. also they normally have a limited amount, so i would suggest not waiting until tonight if you want one.
