Not really a review, since i'm not really a person who can pick up on all the flavors coming out of a cigar when I smoke. But I headed down to Bobalu here in Austin on 6th street on Saturday to check them out. Their operation is small, they have about 6 rollers on site (all of whom are from...

Last night I smoked a hand rolled Rojo Antuguo from the Bobalu store off of 6th street! It was by far one of the best cigars I have had since I have started smoking! It was a light-medium smoke (i havn't got the many dark smokes yet) and had a real nutty flavor! The burn was great and it was...

Last night I got to enjoy one of the Bobalu 91' Vintage cigars out of a sampler I recently brought back from a trip to Austin. Paired with some Bulleit Burbon, was a great combination. My pallet for smoking cigars has not quite developed yet, but I have to say, with the sweet vanilla tones of...

Drink - Water Cut - Straight Lite - Torch Size - Corona The first aroma from this stick was very nice. It toasted and fired up just fine. Draw was ok.... but again, I had to take two to three draws to get a full mouth of smoke to taste. Initial burn traveled a bit due to a vien, but with a...

This cigar was a gift from Warhorse545 and is rolled in Texas. The cigar was a lonsdale size - Connecticut shade wrapper. The cigar was expertly crafted. The feel was right and the burn was near perfect. The cigar started out very light and mild. About one third through, it developed a...
