Re: Problem with Shipping?

B+M's used SCHIP as an excuse to immediately raise prices even though it had not filtered down to the current stock. Some manufacturers didn't change prices but B+M's did. The cheaper the cigar the...

Re: Diamond Crown Maximus

Its too bad that people bid so damn much on those these days. Got a box of DCM#5 for around $115 about a year and a half ago. The Devil has gotten ridiculously overpriced on so many products.

Re: Problem with Shipping?

If you buy out of state you are supposed to report the purchase to the state you live in and then pay the state taxes on tobacco purchases. SCHIP has barely filtered down to the B+M retailers yet,...

Re: any one else do this?

Get youself a real lighter, it will help a lot with toasting and make lights a lot easier. You can get a Ronson for $3 or a nice Nibo or Colibri for around $10-15. :tu

Re: Older china cabinet?

In theory, yes. As long as it has a solid back and a decent place to seal all the doors it is feasible. Look for some other threads from the old Club Stogie for people who have done similar...

Re: Spanish cedar in tupperware?

Just get some old cigars boxes and break them up. It is a matter of the wood holding a little humidity, but given you are rehumidifying, I would just stick with the smokes and let them soak up the...

Re: Heartfelt beads or cat litter beads?

Are you implying that Hearfelt sells kitty litter in different packaging? or that they don't make the beads in-house?

I'll stick with the products designed for regulating humidity, not for...

Re: Heartfelt beads or cat litter beads?

Yeah, real humidity regulating beads, made for regulating humidity, not for soaking up cat pee and neutralizing the odor. :tu

Re: What is your favorite cutter?

Yes, the Palio is just like any other double bladed cutter but it is much smoother and has the lifetime warranty. The Xikar cutter is very akward to hold and cut with, plus mine seems to be slightly...

Re: What to do...damaged shipment?

Call them. Most of the respectable vendors will pay for shipping both ways. Usually they will make it right or offer credit towards another purchase. The worst they can say is no. :tu

Re: Heartfelt beads or cat litter beads?

I won't use kitty litter to do something it wasn't intended to do. For my cigars and my money I am going to invest in something that is created to regulate humidity, not soak up cat pee. $30 is a 5...
