I'm Moving....ugh, 2 Vino's

Well, I am moving tomorrow so I have to put ~40 boxes in a 200 QT tupperware, I hope they survive the move ( 1 hour away but will be out of their vinos for about 1.5 days.)...think i will turn the vinos down to 58 degrees tonight to give them a little xtra coolness for the ride tomorrow. My Volvo's thermostat will be at 64 degrees during the ride. ..........still wigs me out though.

Don't sweat it.
Stuff is shipped from vendors and is "in transit" for many days. Your smokes will be fine.

Re: I'm Moving....ugh, 2 Vino's

Stewart I just moved my whole collection from CT to Florida.

I packed my all my cigars into a cooler. Cooler went into the back seat of the Audi. I bought a small Black and Decker power inverter ,plugged in my Cigar Oasis and ran it to the cooler in the back seat. My Climate control in the car was set for 67.
I then took my Honeywell digital readout and put it on the front seat next to me so I could monitor any major temp/humidity fluctuations. When we stopped the cooler came into the hotel to be in the air conditioning. By the time we got to FL the cooler had to sit for a couple of days before my cabinet would be delivered.
All is good and the cigars have stabilized and are smoking quite nice now.

Good Luck!
