some ppl interpret the rules and suggestions of being more discreet as there being a total ban on posting photos of your latest purchases (which isn't the case).

keep in mind, showing photos of how items are shipped (their packaging, address they came from, etc) is a no-no.

Have the forum rules changed yet now that the POTUS has officially lifted sanctions on the importation of Cuban cigars, rums and other goods, just this past week in October 2016? Mods, any updates that you know or coming?

I haven't. It's still illegal to buy or sell ccs IN the US. We've always had look what I bought in Canada, Mexico etc. My feeling is there will be allot more expensive "are these fakes" since people can bring more into the country. I don't see why it would change things until you can legally buy them here.

But like I said there's been no update yet

No reason I can see for a change of policy. If you want to know "where to buy" when traveling overseas that should be okay, and pretty much always has been... as long as there are no links posted to a shop that also sells online. But info on online purchasing is still a big no-no. When the noobs ask how to get Cubans, the answer is still the same; most anywhere outside the USA. BUT, you can bring 'em back with you legally now!

Thanks for the feedback. I live very close to the Canadian border. Cigars are still very pricy up there so no reason to be bring much across the border anyhow. I just was curious. Thanks so much for clarifications.

IMHO maybe the time has come to loosen up the Forum Rules as our POTUS has loosened up the restriction on CC being brough back into the USA, from places sell CC.

I honestly thought about this before posting my thoughts.
