Help me find my cheap / knockoff cigar.....

I have enough experience with cigars to know what I like and what I want to stock up on. I am in love with nicaraguan tobacco. That deep, dark earth flavor ......(hey, if "they" can come up with adjectives like nutty, spicy, leather.....I can use deep, dark earth.)

My current favorite is Liga Privada Papas Fritas. Love everything about it. But forget about the label and focus on this aspect > No matter what "brand" of cigar I try, as long as it's main tobacco is nicaraguan, there is an absolute certainty of more or less a deep, flavorful, moist, smooth smoke. That's consistent across the board for me.

THAT FLAVOR / MOISTURE is precisely what I seek. It must be inexpensive and something I can hoard. I do not care one iota if it's a no label cigar, so long as it fills the flavor profile I'm after. Thank you guys.

PS, I specifically like maduro wrappers, but am open to trying new things too. I've had my fair share of non-maduro wrapper and I just prefer the dark stuff.

I love padron's. Unfortunately, my wallet does not. I'm thinking about no label, no fancy cigars that come in some kind of bundle like factory seconds, etc.....and are dirt cheap. Local cigar houses (imho) will buy some of these large bundles and slap their own house label on them. That's kind of along the lines I'm looking for. Nothing fancy.

I always kept some of the smaller sizes of Nica Libre around. Back then you could find them fairly cheap. Sure you still can, the regular blend. Sales, bundles, or auctions are where you can benefit for stocking up on cheaper stuff instead of chasing higher end hopefuls.

The Libre's fall into a darker medium. You could always search around for some La Herencia Cubana C.O.R.E. They used to be cheap, and fell on the stronger side of the spectrum. Not fully Nica, but have some fillers.

Prices seem to have changed in my away time, but Nica Libre still seems to show pretty cheap - and probably cheaper if you search for those deals.

Not technically a maduro, the Curivari mini-BV is a great inexpensive Nicaraguan smoke. retail is about $3 a stick, but you can find them on sale for cheaper (if they are in stock, they go fast). Curivari also makes full size maduro versions of these using a SA wrapper it's the "praline" version they go for around $5 stick.
