I lament that I never got to try any of the Frog Morton blends (though perhaps that's not such a bad thing since I seem to be gravitating more towards Va/Pers and burley-based blends). I try not to read too much about the virtues of past versions of specific blends. They always seem to be better, though I half wonder if nostalgia and unreliable human memory serves to skew those reviews.

What I can say is that Peterson Elizabethan is quickly becoming a favorite blend of mine, though much like ODF I need to remember not to pack my Savinelli KS bowls all the way due to the vitamin N kick.
Scap and Fusion like this.

I have lit pipes of Dunhill Flake vs Peterson Flake art the same time, as well as Dunhill Royal Yacht vs Peterson Royal Yacht and I couldn't tell any difference.

The only thing that changed is the Dunhill to Peterson logo. They are still made by Scandinavian Tobacco Group, as they have been for many years. The only difference you are going to taste will be the age on your older Dunhill tins. Other than that, it all in your head
