Here you go Buddy. "A suggested Noobie sampler list" from a thread I just saw. Entry from Puff.com big man on campus Ken Hastings

But it is creamy and has a true thirds progression. First third is mild and creamy, second third is creamy with a little spice, final third a little pepper comes in to play. Hard to find, Thompson's has them. Got a ten pack going to smoke one a month and see how they progress. I prefer the Vega Fina little more flavor but it's $88/20 cigar. The Park Avenue 44 by Ghurka is mild creamy and $17.50/10 in Churchill size on the devil site my go to bargain stick. Just like popping the cork and putting it back in the morning lets a fine red wine breathe during the day I've taken to removing the wrapper and putting my cigar for the evening in a dry cigar box in the morning. So far I'm liking the result. Humidors are holding steady at 69% RH.

$= Bargain
$$= Moderate
$$$= Spendy
= Auction super star

#1 Vega Fina especially Churchill sized. From B&M mild, smooth and creamy on the day of purchase. $$
#2 Davidoff #2 Spendy and more mild-medium but excellent with amazing flavor, smooth and creamy. $$$
#3 Park Avenue 44 Churchill Smooth mild and Creamy and excellent in every way. $ #
#4 Drew Estate Java Latte Mild-Medium but just incredible flavor, smooth and creamy in a Latte/Mocha way $$
#5 Macanudo $$
#6 Perdomo Reserve Champagne 10th Anniversary $$
#7 5 Vega Gold Yummy $ # but bidding can get crazy
#8 Rocky Patel Connecticut many sizes good smoke. should improve with age. Several sizes smoked. Small perfecto was worst smoke ever with bad taste other sizes were good. $$
#9 Mark Twain #1 (Churchill'ish sized) mild and creamy and what a value $
#10 Arturo Fuente Spanish Light Candela Lonsdale Maybe the ultimate mildest for first timers who have never smoked $$

Cusano M1 reminded me of a young red wine, needs some time to mellow but the MC rested was a decent stick.

Average Mild-Medium, tried and not interested in buying more. I'm sure some or all of these will get better with age but the so will the above IMO.
Romeo Y Julieta Reserve Real
Baccarat
LFD Light
Avo XO Beige
EP Carrillo
Occidental Reserve

Tried
Fonseca* Good Nothing Special
Montesino* Good Nothing Special
La Vieja Habana Belicoso D Connecticut Shade Drew Estates* Great and Special Med-Mild
